1970년 발매된 밴 모리슨의 세 번째 앨범.

밴 모리슨은 전작인 Astral Weeks의 처참한 상업적 실패 이후 아내와 함께 뉴욕으로 이주해 Astral Weeks의 추상적인 포크에서 벗어나 R&B, 소울 등의 다양한 음악 장르를 담아서 차기작을 만들게 되었으며, 이후 이러한 음악 스타일은 밴 모리슨의 주류 스타일로 자리잡게 된다. 가사의 성격은 전작과 비슷하게 세속적인 사랑, 영적 구원 등을 소재로 삼았다.

그렇게 발매된 앨범은 다행히 전작과 달리 상업적으로 성공을 거둬 빌보드 200에서 29위, 영국 차트에서 30위에 오르게 되고, 플래티넘 인증을 받았다. 이 앨범 이후 밴 모리슨은 본격적인 성공 가도를 달리게 된다. 앨범 자체의 평도 굉장히 좋아서, 흔히 밴 모리슨의 최고 명반이라고 평가받는 Astral Weeks 다음으로 좋은 평가를 받는다. 아일랜드 특유의 신비한 분위기를 앨범에 잘 녹여냈다는 평가를 받으며, U2 등 후배 아일랜드 뮤지션들에게 영향을 미쳤다고 평가받는다.
