1. 개요
대한민국의 경제학자. 현재 한국외국어대학교 국제통상학과 교수로 재직 중이다.2. 인기
한국외대 국제통상학과의 얼굴을 담당하고 있는 간판이자 명실상부한 스타 교수이다.아래는 그의 인기를 단적으로 보여주는 사진들.
이처럼 평소에도 인기가 많지만, 시험기간만 되면 유독 컬트적인 인기를 끌곤 한다. 스타 교수로 불리기에 손색이 없다고 볼 수 있다.
3. 여담
교수라는 호칭을 그닥 달갑게 여기지 않으며, 본인은 스스로를 선생님이라고 지칭하는 편이다.학생들 사이에서는 멈추지 않는 강의[1]와 악명 높은 난이도의 시험[2]으로 유명하다. 8시간 내내 작성해야 비로소 끝이 보이는, 가히 압도적인 시험 문제는 국제통상학과의 꽃이자 학과의 정체성을 나타낸다고 볼 수 있다.[3]
같은 학과의 김장열 교수님[4] 과 막역한 사이로 알려져 있다.
