이전에는 King Felix라는 이름으로 작품을 내놓으며 활동한 바 있으며 2011년 Laurel Halo 명의로 발매한 Hour Logic EP로 주목받았다. 본 앨범은 2011년 7월에 녹음을 시작하여 2012년 2월에 완성되었으며, 주로 홈 레코딩으로 이루어졌다고 한다. 11월에 Kode9에게 데모를 보냈을 때 좋은 반응을 받아 놀라웠고, 그의 팬이었기 때문에 매우 흥분되었다고 밝혔다.

이전 앨범에 비해 보컬의 비중이 늘어났다. 처음에는 보컬에 에코와 리버브를 많이 걸었으나 이것이 지루하게 느껴졌고, 이를 없애고 나니 놀라운 대비 효과가 생겼다고 말했다.#
