- 곡 전체로 후렴이 끝날때마다 음정이 한칸씩 올라가고, 그후 전에 말했던 이야기를 다시한번 말한뒤 새로운 이야기를 덧붙이면서 갈수록 길이가 늘어나는 특이한 곡 구조를 가지고 있다.
- 단순한 멜로디의 동요 느낌이라는 점에서 해외의 동요 'A Hole in the Bottom of the Sea'에서 제목을 따왔을 것으로 추측된다.
