1. 개요
BEMANI 시리즈의 아케이드 리듬게임 사운드 볼텍스를 PC에서 플레이하기 위한 컨트롤러이다. 코나스테 또는 K-Shoot MANIA 등 SDVX 에뮬레이터 플레이 시에 사용하나, 모드에 따라 EZ2ON 시리즈, DJMAX 등 PC 리듬게임에서도 활용할 수 있다.2. 특징
아케이드 리듬게임은 특성상 아케이드만의 특수한 조작부를 사용하기에 컴퓨터의 키보드와 마우스만으로는 플레이하기도 힘들고 아케이드의 플레이 조작감을 느낄 수 없다. 특히 두 개의 노브를 사용하며 해당 조작부로 여러 기교 패턴을 플레이해야 하는 사운드 볼텍스라는 게임 특성상 컨트롤러의 필요성을 느끼는 이용자들이 많다.아케이드의 부품을 거의 그대로 사용하다 보니 조작감이 아케이드와 유사하거나 동일하다는 점은 장점이나 넓은 면적의 버튼과 버튼에 장착되는 마이크로스위치를 누를 때 소음이 매우 시끄러워 심하면 민원까지 들어올 정도이니 구매 여부는 확실히 고려해야 한다.
마이크로스위치가 아닌 멤브레인 스위치를 사용한 코나미의 엔트리 모델은 상대적으로 정숙하며, 다른 리듬게임용 컨트롤러와는 다르게 사볼콘은 기계식 키보드 기반의 소형화 모델도 있는데 이 제품은 키보드 정도의 소음만 나서 소음관리에 이점이 있다. 다만 전자는 컨트롤러 내구성 자체가 아케이드 부품 버전에 비해 좋지 못하고 후자는 조작체계 사이즈가 확 작아서 이질적일 수 있다.
3. SOUND VOLTEX 코나스테 전용 컨트롤러
3.1. 콘솔 -네메시스- 얼티밋 모델

비마니 생방송에서 사운드 볼텍스 III 그래비티 워즈의 코나스테 버전을 공개함과 동시에 공식 사볼콘 얼티밋 모델 출시를 발표했다. 버튼과 노브 모두 아케이드와 동일한 사양이다.[2] 가격은 38,280엔. 현재는 단종되었다.
2023년 3월 2일부터 rev.2라는 부제를 달고 얼티밋 모델 재판을 시작했다. 가격은 44,800엔. 다만 2017년에 판매한 얼티밋 모델과 컨트롤러 자체 차이는 없다고 한다. 이 역시 유니아나를 통해 국내 정식 발매가 결정되었으며, 2023년 10월 6일부터 수량한정 예약판매를 진행한다. 가격은 545,000원. 구매 특전으로 한정판 e-amusement pass[3], 장패드 2종[4]이 동봉된다고 한다.
3.2. 콘솔 -네메시스- 엔트리 모델

얼티밋 모델이 단종된 이후 대체 모델로 엔트리 모델이 등장했다. 가격은 16,200엔. 얼티밋 모델은 버튼이 마이크로 스위치 방식이었지만, 엔트리 모델은 PS2 시절 IIDX 컨트롤러처럼 러버돔 방식으로 제작되었다.[5] 로터리 엔코더 또한 아날로그 방식인 일반 컨트롤러와는 달리 광학 센서 구조로 바뀌었고 노브 재질도 알루미늄에서 플라스틱으로 변경되었다. 덕분에 노브 조작 감각은 지나치게 가볍고, 버튼 타건감은 아케이드 또는 여타 컨트롤러와 달리 매우 무겁고 뻑뻑하다. 더불어 무게가 5kg에서 2kg으로 경량화되었다. 한국에서도 사운드 볼텍스 익시드 기어 코나스테 한국 서비스 발표와 함께 유니아나에서 잠시 판매했다. 당시 가격은 208,000원. 구매 특전으로 베이직 코스 90일권, 한정판 e-amusement pass, 스마트폰 거치대가 동봉되었다. 2023년 10월 6일, 얼티밋 모델 rev.2가 국내 정식 발매되면서 이 엔트리 모델도 재고가 풀렸는지 이 엔트리 모델도 다시 구입이 가능해졌다.
비트콘 엔트리 모델과 마찬가지로 라이젠 CPU를 사용하는 PC에서 인식이 안 되는 현상이 있는데 라이젠 특유의 USB 인식 오류 때문에 생긴 것으로 추정되고 있다. 해결 방안은 유전원 허브를 사용하는 것.
4. 서드파티 제품
비트콘과 마찬가지로 서드파티 제품이 존재한다. 역시 다양한 회사 혹은 개인이 직접 제조해 판매하는 등 제품군이 다양하다.4.1. 구매 가능
4.1.1. DJ DAO

DJ DAO라는 기업에서 FAUCETWO, FAUCETWO Portable Edition을 판매하고 있다. 이전에는 아케이드 구 기체와 동일한 규격과 사이즈의 SVRE9와 코팔 엔코더가 기본 장착된 엔트리형 모델인 SVSE5도 있었으나 조용히 단종되었다.
기본 버튼은 DJ DAO에서 자체 제작했다. 옵션으로 일본 기체에 장착되는 산와 버튼으로 변경할 수 있는데, $92가 추가된다. 아케이드와 최대한 비슷한 느낌을 내고 싶다면 산와 버튼으로 바꾸는 것이 좋겠지만 2019년 하반기 즈음부터 기본 버튼도 품질이 개선되어 출고되고 있다.
2021년 5월 24일 FAUCETWO라는 비비드 웨이브의 컬러를 기반으로 한 자체 디자인 컨트롤러를 공개하였다. 특이점으로 노브에 IIDX, EZ2AC 턴테이블과 같은 적외선 센서를 사용했다. 인풋렉도 적고 고장도 잘 안 나며 조작 감각도 매우 좋다고. SVSE5보다도 저렴한 $169이나 품질과 디자인, 비주얼은 더욱 뛰어나다.
FAUCETWO 익시드 기어 버전 첫 공개 당시 어떤 유저가 이 컨트롤러를 발키리 모델 기반 디자인으로 발매됐으면 좋겠다는 멘션을 달았는데, 2023년 중으로 예정되어 있다는 답변이 달렸다.
2022년 9월 24일부터는 익시드 기어[6]를 기반으로 한 신규 디자인 스킨 버전 예약판매를 시작하였다. 디자인 외엔 크게 달라진 점은 없으나 타건감 상승을 위한 메탈 플레이트가 한 장 추가되었다. 구입하면 기본적으로 프레임과 아크릴 패널 사이에 장착되어 있다.
2023년 11월 11일 기존 FAUCETWO의 개선판인 FAUCETWO+ 예약주문을 받는다는 공지가 올라왔다. 기존 모델과의 차이점은 마더보드 변경, 노브 개선, USB Type-B 케이블만 꽂으면 바로 작동되는 것[7] 등이 있다.
2023년 11월 20일 FAUCETWO Portable Edition 출시를 예고했다. 아래의 Pocket Voltex 문단에 있는 컨트롤러처럼 기계식 키보드 스위치가 달린 소형 컨트롤러이다.
참고로 일본 내수용 사이트와 영어로 된 해외용 사이트가 있는데, 최종 수령자가 일본에 있거나 한 게 아니면[8] 영어 사이트에서 사는 게 낫다. 지금은 단종된 노브만 코팔 세트[9]로 교체한 SVSE5 기준, 일본 사이트에서는 23,800엔[10]인 데 비해 영어 사이트는 226.84달러[11]이다. 게다가 일본 사이트는 일본 내 배송만 지원되므로 배송대행을 이용해야 하는 데 비해[12] 영어 사이트는 수령지를 한국으로 선택할 수 있으므로 226.84달러가 최종 결제 금액이 된다.[13] 즉 일본 사이트를 쓰는 건 뻘짓인 셈.
4.1.2. Yuancon

Yuancon이라는 중국 개인 업체에서도 판매 중이다. 보통 유안콘이라고 부른다.
기본 모델인 SDVX 12는 옴론 마이크로스위치를, 버튼과 노브는 자체 제작한 제품을 탑재했다. 그리고 스타트 버튼이 Vigroo사의 TurboCharger+처럼 마름모 꼴로 되어 있다.
연결 케이블은 탈착 가능하며 2020년 3월 이후로 컨트롤러 측 연결 단자는 USB Type C 단자를 사용하고(구형은 Type B 노말) USB A to C 케이블을 하나 제공한다. 이전에 제품을 한 번 개선하면서 양쪽 노브 부분에 작은 LED가 추가되었는데 이 부분의 케이블을 빼서 버튼 LED 밝기를 살짝 올릴 수도 있다.
기본 옵션 자체로도 평가가 상당히 괜찮은 편. 특히 노브가 내구성이 좋다는 평이다. 가격은 $167로 DJ DAO사의 SVSE5와 맞먹는 가성비를 자랑했으나, 2021년 중순 리뉴얼되며 $199로 인상되었다. 한국 배송비도 $24로 싼 편이기에 새로운 가격 대비 효율이 매우 좋은 제품. 다만 추가 옵션 목록이 없어서 무조건 기본 옵션으로만 구입할 수밖에 없다는 단점이 있다.[14] 현재는 188달러로 인하되었다.
키보드(버튼) + 마우스(노브) 입력, 게임패드(버튼부는 게임패드, 노브는 마우스 입력), USB HID[15]의 3가지 모드를 지원한다. 케이블 연결 시 START + BT-A 나 B, 또는 C를 누른 상태로 연결해서 전환 가능하다.
생산량이 많지 않아 입고되더라도 금방 품절이 뜨는 편이다. 입고되는 시기도 유동적이니 공식 트위터나 디스코드를 잘 살펴봐야 한다.[16]
2021년 11월 13일 저가형 모델인 SDVX Lite가 출시되었다. 가격은 $139로 사볼콘 중에서 가장 저렴하다. 디자인을 간소화하고 아크릴 인쇄를 최소화했으며, 주문 제작한 엔코더와 중국산 버튼, 스위치를 탑재하여 가격을 낮추었다. 규격은 상단과 좌우 여백을 조금 깎은 것 외에 SDVX 12와 동일하다. 현재는 138달러로 인상되었다.
4.1.3. IST Mall

한국의 아케이드 스틱/부품 판매사인 IST몰에서도 사볼콘을 자체 제작해서 판매하고 있다. 국내 업체라 AS 맡기기도 용이하고, 물건너오는 타사 제품과는 다르게 상대적으로 빨리 받아볼 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 스크래치 퀄리티가 아쉽다는 평을 받으며 평가가 아쉬운 자사의 비트콘과는 달리 아케이드 타입 기준 쓸만하다는 평가를 받으며 은근 수요가 있는 편이다.
처음에는 자사의 격투게임용 컨트롤러인 메이크스틱의 하우징에 대충 조작부를 쑤셔넣은 형태로 출시했었다. [참고자료] 그러다 보니 아케이드 규격에 비해 노브가 너무 가까이 붙고 버튼 간격도 엉망이었다. 당연하게도 그 당시 사볼콘은 평가가 좋지 않다. 가격은 155,000원
이후에 나온 게 현재 IST제 사볼콘의 기본적인 모델인 아케이드 타입이다. 가격은 첫 출시 당시에는 198,000원이었으나[17] 현재는 248,000원이다. 노브와 버튼 배치가 아케이드 사양으로 맞춰졌고 하우징은 재단한 아크릴을 나사와 철제 브라켓으로 조립하여 만들어 꽤 묵직하다. 첫 출시 당시에는 노브가 아케이드 기체와 달리 가볍다는 평이 있었다. 이는 코팔 엔코더가 매우 가볍게 돌아가기 때문이었다. 2020년 11월 2일 생산분부터 기존 악명높은 코팔 엔코더에서[18] 내구도가 우수하고 감도 조절이 가능하게 CALT 엔코더로 변경되었다.[19] 기본적으로 버튼과 노브는 키보드 신호로 작동되며, 주문 시 상품 옵션에 따라 노브 신호를 마우스 또는 마우스+키보드 신호로도 추가 요금 없이 선택할 수 있다. 버튼은 기본적으로 IST몰 자체 버튼을 탑재하나, 일본 오락실 사양과 동일한 산와 버튼을 선택할 수 있다. 스위치는 초기 기본 옵션은 거성 스위치였으나 현재 기본 옵션으로 지피 스위치를 장착해 준다. 상판 스킨을 개인 제작 이미지로 커스텀 할 수 있는 옵션도 제공되니 나만의 디자인을 가진 사볼콘을 갖고 싶다면 나쁘지 않은 선택이다. 시기는 불명이나 LED발광 버튼 옵션과 신호체계 방식을 변경해 주던 옵션이 사라졌고, 마이너 업데이트로 노브 손잡이 디자인이 실제 아케이드와 유사한 디자인으로 변경되었다. 또한 2023년 3월부로 eAclound 모드를 공식 지원한다.
2020년 12월 해당 사볼콘과 엑시온 사볼콘 사이에 출시된 사볼콘이 있었으나 품절상태로 전환 후 판매를 하지 않는다. 상세 내용은 구매 불가 및 단종 탭의 IST Mall 참고.
2025년 11월 19일 새로운 사볼콘이 출시되었다. 명칭은 EXION 사볼콘. 가격은 CALT제 엔코더 버전은 348,000원, 아케이드 노브 버전은 648,000원이며 산와버튼 옵션 추가 시 8만 원이 추가된다.[20] 전반적인 구조와 디자인은 GAMO2의 FAUCE TWO와 유사하다. 플라스틱 사출 방식과 하판을 쉽게 열어 부품 자가교체를 쉽게 할 수 있게 한 구조 등을 보면 비슷한 것을 알 수 있다. 노브 선택지 두 종류[21]와 버튼 선택지 두 종류[22]를 제공하며 스위치는 스위치 압력을 제외하고 옴론 클릭형 스위치로 고정된다.[23] 버튼부 패널에 금속 강판과 진동방지 레이어 및 흡음재를 포함한 다층 레이어 상판 구조가 적용되어 아케이드와 유사한 타건감과 통울림 소음 저감을 기대해 볼 수 있다. 이번에도 인풋렉 1ms대의 성능을 자랑하는 타키온 보드가 적용되었다. 그리고 사운드 볼텍스 코나스테에 직접적으로 대응되는 eAclound모드가 지원되며 eAclound 모드와 HID키보드+마우스 휠 입력 신호 모드, HID 키보드 단독 모드를 오갈 수 있는 기능을 지원한다.
여담으로 원래는 2025년 1월 25일에 처음으로 개발 진척도 90%라는 현황과 함께 공개되어[#] 2025년 5월 출시를 목표로 개발되었지만[#] 소프트웨어 결함 및 버튼 신규 수급처 확보 등[24]으로 미뤄지다 2025년 11월 19일에서야 출시되었다.

이 제품의 가장 큰 특징은 바로 기계식 키보드 스위치를 사용했다는 점인데,[25] 이 덕분에 매우 작고[26] 가격 또한 저렴하다.

대한민국의 리듬게임 커스텀 컨트롤러 제작 팀인 라벤더 랩스(Lavender Labs)에서 판매 중인 사운드 볼텍스 전용 컨트롤러이다. 유저들 사이에서는 주로 라벤더콘이라는 명칭으로 불린다.
기본적으로 PC 환경의 코나스테 플레이를 타겟으로 설계되었으며 기기 완성도와 마감 부문에서 다른 유사 제품들과 다를 바 없는 퀄리티를 보여준다.[27]
상판과 하판은 아크릴을 사용했으나 본체 프레임은 화이트 분체도장 스틸 구조를 채택했다. 이 덕분에 가정용 환경에서 격렬한 플레이를 하더라도 기기가 밀리지 않는 묵직한 무게감과 견고한 안정감을 제공한다.
이 사볼콘의 큰 특징으로 노브가 기본 사양으로 라벤더랩스에서 특수 제작된 자기 엔코더 기반 무접점 노브가 탑재되어 부드러운 회전과 내구성이 매우 뛰어나며[28] 자석의 힘으로 저항감을 만들어 아케이드 노브와 유사한 감도를 보여주며, 1000Hz 폴링레이트를 지원하여 입력 지연을 최소화했다.
또한 유저 편의성을 위해 전용 소프트웨어(설정 프로그램)를 제공하므로 노브 감도, 입력 모드, LED 밝기 등 개개인의 손맛에 맞게 디테일한 세팅이 가능하다.
공식 트위터(X) 공지 및 네이버 스마트스토어를 통해 상시 판매 형태로 진행된다. 가격은 정가 기준 300,000원. [29] 제품 출시 초기에는 예약 구매 시 약 10%의 할인 혜택을 제공하기도 했다.
연결 단자는 본체 후면에 탈착이 가능한 USB Type-C 포트를 사용한다.
4.2. 구매 불가 및 단종
4.2.1. DJ DAO

아케이드와 완전히 같은 디자인, 규격인 SVRE9은 $399에 판매 중이었다.
보급형 사볼콘인 SVSE5는 $149였으나 2020년 중 리뉴얼되며 가격이 $179로 인상되었다. 기본 세팅은 기대치 이하라는 의견이 많아 옵션을 추가할 것을 권장한다. 옵션을 붙여도 웬만한 사볼콘보다는 싸니 금전이 부족하다면 이쪽으로. 사용 가능한 옵션은 SVRE9과 거의 똑같으나 노브를 추가적으로 변경할 수 있다. AC Set로 변경할 경우 $140, Copal Set는 $40이 추가된다.
이후 언젠가 사이트에서 사라진 것으로 보아 단종된 것으로 추정.
4.2.2. IST Mall

2020년 12월 말, 아케이드와 비슷한 디자인과 동일한 조작부 규격을 갖춘 NEW 아케이드 타입 사볼콘이 출시되었다. 노브 부분의 리미터를 아케이드 사양에 비해 고급 부품으로 개선하고 아케이드에 사용되는 SENSATEC ELV24 엔코더를 사용하였다. 버튼은 기존 아케이드 타입과 동일하게 자사 자체제작 스위치가 기본이며 산와 버튼 옵션을 별도로 고를 수 있다. 스위치는 초기에는 기본 옵션으로 옴론 D2MV 50g을 사용했으나, 후기에는 지피 스위치가 기본으로 바뀌며 오히려 너프가 되었다. 하우징으로 금속 재질을 사용했다. 기판은 자사 격투게임 컨트롤러룰 통해 검증된 인풋 반응속도 1ms대를 보여주는 자체 개발한 기판인 타키온 보드를 사용한다. 가격은 398,000원이다.[30] 이 컨트롤러도 개인 디자인 스킨으로 커스텀이 가능하다. 이후 시기는 불명이나 판매처에 제품 페이지가 남아있긴 하지만 품절처리를 해 두어 구매가 불가능하다.[31] 당시에는 출시되지 않았던 엑시온 사볼콘의 준비를 위한 것으로 추정된다.
4.2.3. Virgoo
Virgoo 라는 중국 업체에서도 판매 중이다. 주로 렌보, 레인보우 콘으로 알려져 있으며 정식 명칭은 'Virgoo TurboCharger'다. 스타트 버튼 및 노브를 조작할 때 나오는 특유의 LED 효과 때문에 인기가 많은 제품이다. 다만 노브는 그다지 기대하지 않는 것이 좋다. 이후 TurboCharger+가 출시되었는데 스타트 버튼이 사운드 볼텍스 III 그래비티 워즈의 내부 UI처럼 마름모 꼴로 설치되어 있다. 또한 그동안 욕을 먹던 노브를 아케이드처럼 재설계하였다. 또 블랙 버전이 추가되어 양덕들의 마음을 심쿵하게 만들으며, DJ DAO의 SVRE9처럼 아케이드 노브가 옵션으로 추가되었다. 2016년 2월 21일 이후 판매 잠시를 중지했다가 2018년 1월 23일 기준으로 다시 판매를 시작하였다. 트위터 공지2020년부터 운영하지 않는다. 사이트도 스팸 사이트로 리다이렉트된다.
5. 여담
HTPC 컨트롤러로 플레이하는 영상이 있다(...). 해당 제품은 아이몬(국내)/VERIS(수출)라는 이름으로 HTPC의 전 세계적인 열풍 당시에 잘 팔렸던 제품.
