부모님을 향한 제 사랑을 나타낼 수 있는 곡을 쓰고 싶었어요. 어른이 된다는 것의 슬픔도요. 제가 부모님 집에서 독립해서 나오던 순간, 전 저의 어린 시절은 곧 끝날 거고 가족도 강아지도 다시 보기 어려울 거라는 느낌이 들었죠. 실제로는 전혀 그렇지 않았어요. 모두 자주 만나거든요. 하지만 부모님이 항상 옳지만은 않다는 것, 어른이 된다는 것의 슬픈 면을 보여주고 싶었어요. [1]
