미국의 록밴드 너바나의 노래.2. 상세
너바나의 2번째 스튜디오 앨범 Nevermind의 12번 트랙으로 수록되었다. 앨범 내에서 가장 조용하고 우울한 분위기를 조성하는 곡으로, 초기에는 앨범의 다른 수록곡들과 비슷하게 거친 펑크 록이었으나 이후 어쿠스틱으로 전환했다고 한다.가사는 커트 코베인이 가출해 노숙하던 시절 만약 강변 다리 밑에서 살았으면 어땠을까 하는 심정으로 썼다고 한다.[1]
곡의 후렴구는 비틀즈의 Something에서 영향을 받았다.
2005년 영화 자헤드에 삽입되었다.
2022년 영화 더 배트맨의 첫 예고편에 사용되었고 영화 내에서 두 차례 나온다.[2] 그 후 MTV Unplugged in New York 라이브 영상의 조회수가 엄청나게 상승했으며 발매된 지 무려 31년 만에 빌보드 Hot 100 46위에 들었다.
