• 2005년 영화 자헤드에 삽입되었다.
• 2022년 영화 더 배트맨의 첫 예고편에 사용되었고, 영화 본편에서도 오프닝과 엔딩에서 두 차례 나온다. 더 배트맨의 감독인 맷 리브스는 이 곡을 들으며 더 배트맨의 각본을 썼다고 하며, 음악감독 마이클 지아키노는 Something in the Way의 주요 멜로디에서 배트맨의 메인 테마의 라이트모티프 멜로디를 구상했다고 한다. 그 후 MTV Unplugged in New York 라이브 영상의 조회수가 엄청나게 상승했으며, 발매된 지 무려 31년 만에 빌보드 Hot 100 46위에 들었다.
