1. 개요

설치 없이 브라우저에서 플레이할 수 있는 캐주얼 게임을 모아놓은 네덜란드 기반 무료 온라인 게임 사이트이다.

2. 특징

서브웨이 서퍼스, 소드마스터즈, 2048 등의 모바일 게임의 플레이가 가능하며 2024년 7월 기준 월 9천만 명의 유저가 사용 중이다. 그리고 하루에 350만 시간의 플레이타임과 34개의 언어를 지원하고 있다. 게임 플레이를 위한 앱 설치가 필요하지 않기 때문에 부모 또는 조부모 휴대폰을 빌려 사용하는 초등학생에게 인기를 끌고 있다. 다양한 종류의 게임을 할 수 있다.[2] 이 사이트에는 꽤나 유명한 게임들~~을 베낀 것~~이 있는데, 그 예시로써는 레벨 데빌이나 Subway Surfers, 2048 등이 있다.

퀄리티는 다른 사이트에 비해 낮은 편이다.

3. 비판 및 문제점

대부분 인터넷 게임이 그렇듯이, 마인크래프트, RFS, 수박게임같은 일부 게임들을 표절한 게 많고 주 접속자는 어린이들이나, 부적절한 광고, 게임이 필터링 없이 나온다.
심지어 앱 개발자가 직접 Poki에 등재했다고 하지만, 사실은 허락도 없이 베낀 것이다.
그러니 대부분은 poki for developers에 속한 개발자가 아니고 poki가 정성스럽게 베낀 것.
채팅의 검열 문제도 너무하다 싶을 정도로 제한된다. 일전에는 언어 상관 없이, 욕이나 정치적 발언이 아니더라도 대화가 안될 정도의 검열이 이어져 비판의 목소리가 컸다. 최근에는 일부 게임이 자동완성이 되는 문구로만 채팅이 가능해지면서, 포키를 향한 비난은 점점 거세지고 있다.

전술했듯 미성년자들이 많이 접속하는 사이트이지만, 부적절한 광고가 많다.
서버가 가끔씩 터진다.
검색창에 '67'을 입력하면 망고가 나온다. 클릭하면 없어진다.
검색창에 'capuchina'라고 치면 카푸치나가 나온다.

최근 플레이 기록을 지우는 방법은 사이트 데이터 지우는 것 말고는 없다
