• 미니 5집 《Whiplash》 이후 8개월 만의 컴백이며, 국내 음반으로서는 최초로 발매되는 실물 싱글 음반이다.

• Dirty Work는 본래 Whiplash가 타이틀곡으로 내정되어 있었던 미국 정규 1집의 수록곡으로 알려졌으나, 앨범 자체가 무산되어 이번 싱글의 타이틀곡이 된 것으로 추정된다.[13]

• 2025년 1월, 골든디스크어워즈 인터뷰에서 멤버들이 이번 컴백에 대해 예고하며 발매가 확정되었다. #
• 2025년 계획을 묻는 질문에 멤버들은 이미 2025년 일정을 전부 들은 상태라고 하며, 자주 볼 수 있을 것이라고 답했다. 이 때 상반기에 자주 볼 수 있냐는 추가 질문에 상중하 전부 꽤나 많이 볼 수 있을 것이라 답한 것을 보았을 때 해당 앨범뿐만 아니라 다른 앨범까지 최소 하나는 더 발매할 것으로 보인다.
• 지젤의 말에 따르면 멤버들은 이미 이번 곡을 들은 상태라고 한다.
• 이번 곡에도 특정 멤버의 킬링포인트[14]가 있냐는 질문에 카리나는 특정 멤버의 킬링 포인트 보다는 노래 자체가 킬링이라 답하였다. 이를 보았을 때 한 멤버 몰아주기식 킬링 파트는 딱히 없거나 아직 정해지지 않은 것으로 보인다.
• 카리나의 말에 따르면 이번 앨범 컨셉도 여태까지 선보이지 않은 새로운 컨셉이라고 하였다.
• 다음 신곡도 쇠맛이 많이 나냐는 질문에 '쇠보다는 햇빛', '쇠를 녹인 느낌', '대장장이 느낌' 등의 답변들을 하였다.
• 닝닝은 MY들이 놀랄 수도 있을 것이라 하였으며, 윈터는 자신들이 회사에게 여태까지 선을 너무 잘 지킨 것 같아 이번에 선 좀 넘어보고 싶다고 얘기하였다고 밝혔다.
