2. 상세

나쁘기로 유명한 영국의 날씨에 영감을 얻은 서사적인 가사가 특징인 곡이다.

데이먼은 간단한 멜로디와 더 간단한 가사(we are the low)만 있는 상태에서 가사를 완성시키지 못하겠다고 고집을 부렸다. 한참 프로듀서와 입씨름하고 있는 사이에 데이먼이 탈장 수술을 하게 되어버려 이 싸움은 끝이 나는 것처럼 보였다. 하지만 그는 영국의 날씨에 영감을 얻어, 수술에 들어가기 하루 전에 이 곡의 가사를 완성시켰다. 수술을 끝낸 데이먼은 병원 침대 위에서 스튜디오에 전화를 걸어 곡을 어떤 식으로 믹싱하고 싶은지 간단 명료하게 설명했지만, 후에 그는 이 사실을 기억할 수 없다고 진술했다.

흔히 오아시스의 Champagne Supernova와 비교되는, 앨범 최고의 마무리 트랙이라 평가된다. 팬들의 지지 역시 절대적인 곡이라 Blur: The Best Of, Midlife: A Beginner's Guide to Blur와 같은 컴필레이션 앨범에도 빠지지 않고 수록되어 있다.

2014년, NME에서 선정한 최고의 명곡 순위에서 198위에 오르기도 했다.
