{{{#!wiki style="word-break: keep-all; margin: 0 -10px -5px; min-height: calc(1.5em + 5px)" {{{#!folding [ 펼치기 · 접기 ] {{{#!wiki style="margin: -6px -1px -11px"	SCENE#1｜The 1st Mini Album 2020. 12. 2. 12:00 발매 라포엠 "SCENE#1" 전설의 첫 장을 펼치다 라포엠의 첫 번째 앨범 타이틀은 "SCENE#1". 첫 등장의 회화적 표현이며, 드라마틱한 스토리의 시작을 알리는 서사적 표현이다. 우승팀으로서의 부담을 안고 펼쳐 보이는 첫 앨범에 어떤 장면과 이야기를 담아냈을까? 미니 앨범으로 기획된 앨범이지만 8곡(CD 보너스 트랙 포함)이 담긴 정규급 앨범이 완성되었으며, 풍성한 첫 앨범을 받아 볼 수 있는 팬들에게는 선물 같은 앨범이 만들어졌다. 안정적이고 감성적인 곡들이 기대를 채우고, 타 장르와의 크로스오버나 젊은 팝 뮤지션과의 협업도 눈길을 끈다. 정통 성악가로서의 틀을 깨는 록 스타일의 창법도 인상적이다. 물론 여러 실험적 시도들을 담았음에도 이들의 단단한 안정감에는 변화가 없다. 타이틀곡은 ‘눈부신 밤’이다. 한편의 꿈과 같았던 <팬텀싱어>가 끝났지만 그 꿈은 영원할 것이라는 의미가 담겼다. 프로그램을 통해 만났던 라포엠의 아름다운 감성을 다시 만날 수 있다. 개개인의 폭발력을 절제하며 소리의 합을 통해 감성을 끌어 올린다. ‘눈부신 밤’과 반대로 ‘La Tempesta'는 멤버 개개인의 극대화된 가창을 살렸다. 오페라가 아닌 뮤지컬 스타일로 곡을 풀어 나간 부분이 인상적이다. 거칠게 장면을 전환시키는 록 스타일의 창법, 상부를 휘젓는 카운터테너의 폭발력과 바닥을 두드리는 묵직한 저음이 저마다 강렬한 날을 세운다. 어스, 윈드 앤 파이어(Earth, Wind & Fire)의 훵키 소울 넘버 ‘Fantasy'를 커버한 것도 독특하다. 훵키 리듬을 보사노바에 얹어 부드럽게 풀어 낸 부분이 인상적이며, 소울 특유의 가성 파트를 카운터테너를 통해 들을 수 있다는 게 무엇보다 좋다. 카운터테너 최성훈 특유의 감성으로 문을 여는 ‘초우’는 네 멤버의 감성의 크기가 극대화되었다. 자신들의 음색을 그대로 유지하면서도 크고 깊은 감성을 만들어 냈다. ‘신월 (新月)’은 ‘초우’와 반대로 바리톤 정민성의 울림 있는 감성으로 문을 연다. 멤버들이 주고받는 형태로 곡이 전개되며, <이태원 클라쓰> 주제가 ‘시작’의 주인공 가호(Gaho)와 그의 크루 케이브(KAVE)가 함께 작업한 것도 이색 포인트다. ‘Amigos Para Siempre'의 선택도 탁월했다. ’영원한 친구‘라는 메시지를 스스로에게, 또 <팬텀싱어> 식구들과 팬들에게 전하고 있으며, 남녀가 함께 부른 곡을 선택해 자신들의 극단적으로 넓은 음역대를 자랑한 것 또한 돋보인다. 그리고, 읊조리듯 편안하게 부른 ‘Dear My Dear’와 CD로 만날 수 있는 크리스마스 송 ‘O Holy Night'까지... 라포엠의 첫 번째 장은 본연의 색을 잃지 않으면서 다채로움을 만들어 내는 능력, 조화를 깨뜨리지 않으면서 파격을 완성하는 능력을 보여주고 있다. “우승의 품격”을 증명하는 시작... 어쩌면, 새로운 전설의 시작일 수도 있다.	}}}}}}}}}

2020년 11월 14일 팬텀싱어 3 갈라 콘서트 Encore 공연에서 유채훈이 첫 앨범 발매가 12월 첫 주가 될 것이라고 처음으로 밝혔다.
음원이 공개되기 전까지 앨범 선주문 수량이 3만 2천장을 기록하며 커리어 하이를 달성했다.
음원이 나오기 20분 전 깜짝 V LIVE를 진행했다.
2020년 12월 21일 앨범 발매일에 맞추어 라포엠 멤버들이 처음 앨범을 받아보는 순간을 공개하였다.
2020년 12월 2일 온라인 기자간담회에서 이번 앨범에 대해 "팬텀싱어 3에서 보여진 모습과 앞으로 나아가야 할 방향들이 많이 녹아있는 앨범으로 클래식 4중창의 매력을 느낄 수 있는 곡, 편안하게 감상할 수 있는 곡, 커버곡 및 신곡까지 다양하게 채워진 종합선물세트 같은 앨범이다"고 설명했다. 앨범명 SCENE#1에 대해서는 "구성을 하다 보니 곡마다 다른 매력들이 있는 곡들이 모였더라. 마치 영화의 한 장면처럼 팬들이 우리 앨범을 들었을 때 변화무쌍한 작품을 보듯이 영화를 보듯 드라마를 보듯 했으면 하는 마음으로 제목을 붙였다. 대중적인 선율, 듣고 편안한 음악, 강렬한 사운드까지 입힌, 꽉 찬 미니앨범이다"고 말했다.
2020년 12월 25일 방송된 SBS 파워FM 두시탈출 컬투쇼에서 라포엠은 새 앨범에서 뮤직비디오가 총 네 편이 나왔는데, 이를 하루 만에 다 찍었다고 밝혔다. 뮤직비디오 촬영 현장에서는 때아닌 귀신 소동도 벌어졌다고. 라포엠은 "'신월'이라는 뮤직비디오를 찍고 있는데 뒤편에서 갑자기 불이 환하게 켜졌다. 센서있는 등이 아니라 일반 등인데도. 관리자 분이 켠 적도 없었다"며 "그리고 매니저님 어깨를 누군가 쳤다고 하더라. 폐건물이라 저희밖에 없었다"고 설명했다. 김태균은 이에 "귀신 소동이 일어나면 그 앨범이 잘된다는 소리가 있다"는 설을 이야기하며 라포엠의 승승장구를 기원했다.
