1. 개요

Rosanna는 미국의 록밴드 토토가 1982년 발매한 앨범 Toto IV의 첫 싱글이자 앨범의 오프닝 트랙이다.

2. 상세

이 노래는 작곡가인 데이비드 페이치가 자신이 알던 수많은 소녀들을 기반으로 두었다고 말했다. 밴드 멤버들은 녹음 당시 밴드의 키보디스트인 스티브 포카로와 데이트를 하던 여자 중 제목과 같은 이름을 가졌던 로잔나 아퀘트를 기반으로 한 노래라는 가정을 하고 연주했다고 한다.

키는 G장조에서 F장조로 변경되며 보컬도 스티브 루카서에서 바비 킴벌로 변경된다.

드러머들에게도 매우 중요한 곡인데, 이 곡이 하프타임 셔플의 대명사격인 곡이기 때문이다.

여담이지만 도입부 5초까지의 드럼 소리가 Pornhub의 테마곡 도입부와 상당히 비슷하다(...)
