핑크 플로이드가 1967년 말에 발표한 싱글으로, 처음으로 차트 진입에 실패한 싱글이다.

이 싱글의 발매를 기점으로 시드 배럿의 정신건강이 나빠지기 시작했다. 특히 위에 American Bandstand 영상에서 자세히 보면[1] 배럿의 기타 싱크도 맞지 않고 시선도 정신없는 듯 멍하니 카메라를 바라보고 있다.

Apples and oranges는 전혀 다른 것을 비교할때 쓰는 숙어이다.
