2000년도 Silverspoon이란 밴드명으로 현재는 사망한 Thorstein Aaby와 Nils, Stian을 주축으로 결성됐다.1.1. 현 멤버

1.2. 평가
3세대 밴드 중에서도 공상과학적인 요소들이 유난히 도드라지는데, 이는 밴드 멤버들이 Stargate류의 SF소설을 바탕으로 한 세계관과 가사를 다루기 때문. 덕분에 페인 오브 살베이션이나 에버그레이처럼 암울한 분위기를 연출하지는 않아 접근 레벨이 높지는 않다.심포니 X와 연결고리가 있는 에버그레이와는 달리 이들은 드림 시어터, 그 중에서도 두번째 앨범 Images and Words의 영향을 많이 받았다고 한다. 'Celestial Entrance'앨범의 마지막 수록곡 'The prophecy of Pleiades'를 잘 들어보면 'Learning to Live'를 오마주한 부분이 나오기도 한다.
가사 주제로는 인류의 역사, 미지의 세계에 대한 경외, 고등지성, 미스테리 등을 다룬다.
