6.1. 제작자의 미니 잼못타 플레이스 표절 의혹
2024년 5월 27일 '미니 잼못타'[5]라고 불리는 잼못타의 팬 게임이 만들어졌다.출시 당시에는 독특한 컨셉으로 인기를 끌며 여러 유튜버들이 다루게 되었다.
그러나 얼마 후, 게임과 제작자의 계정이 삭제되었다. 삭제된 정확한 이유는 알 수 없으나, 두가지 가능성을 추론해낼 수 있다.
1번. 해당 플레이스는 핵으로 복사된 잼못타를 크기만 극단적으로 줄인 것이기에 불법 복제로 인해 이런 것일 수 있다. 2. 잼못타 제작자의 그룹과, 잼못타 게임 설명에 적혀있듯이, 잼민이는 못 깨는 타워의 제작자는 팬 게임을 만드는 것을 금지 하고있다. [증거] 그렇기에 '잼못타 제작자가 팬 게임이 만들어지는 것을 원하지 않았고, 로블록스 정책에 따라 저작권자가 원하지 않는 팬게임은 저작권자에 의해 삭제될 수 있기에 삭제된 것'으로 추정되고 있다. 여기까지는 아무런 문제가 없었다.
2025년 4월 4일 잼못타 제작자의 그룹 '수린 커뮤니티'에서 Minigame Unbreakable Tower Mini-mode라는 게임을 출시했다. 그런데 (구) 미니 잼못타 플레이 영상과, 위의 두 사진 (현) 미니 잼못타와 비교했을때, 유사한 수준이 아니라 사실상 똑같은 게임이여서 논란이 되었다.
그냥 가져오는 것이 끝난 것이 아니라 후원 시스템까지 넣었기 때문에[증거2] 심각한 저작권 문제로 번질 가능성이 있다. 그러므로 해당 게임의 제작자들이 각각 입장을 밝혀야 할 것으로 보인다.
일부 사람들은 "잼못타 제작자가 팬게임을 저작권으로 신고한 뒤, 해당 게임을 자신이 가져가 상업적으로 활용하려는 것 아니냐"고 주장하고 있으나, 현재까지 이를 입증할 명확한 증거는 없는 상태이다.[8] 따라서 성급한 비난보다는 사실 확인이 우선되어야 할 것이다.
