1. 개요
468번 국도 수도권중앙연락자동차도(켄오도, C4)의 나들목(44번)이다. 나들목 명칭은 소재지 오메시의 명칭에서 유래하였다.켄오도 오메시 구간은 이미 개발된 시가지를 지나야 하는 특성상 지하화가 적용되었고, 공법상 복층 지하화 구간을 끼고 있는 형태로 건설된 바 있다. 이에 오메IC는 오메시 시가지를 다 지난 뒤의 구간에 설치되어 있는데, 이 지점이 오메시 동쪽 끝으로 램프 일부는 사이타마현 이루마시에 걸쳐있을 정도로 끝에 설치되어 있다.
트럼펫형 나들목으로, 외부 접속부는 평면교차로(삼거리)다. 진출 기준 직진 및 좌회전 방향 모두 44번 도쿄도도와 접속한다.
