특히 작중 무도회장에서 연주되는 왈츠곡(La Valse)들과 춤곡(Polka; 폴카)들의 빼어난 아름다움이 런던 심포니 오케스트라의 연주로 더욱 빛이 나며 호평을 받았다.
엔딩 크레딧에는 원작 애니메이션 신데렐라의 수록곡이었던 A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes을 신데렐라 역의 릴리 제임스가 직접 불렀으며, 요정 대모 역의 헬레나 본햄 카터가 Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo를 부른 음원도 수록되었다. 안타깝게도 작중에서 중요한 역할을 한 곡이자 엘라가 흥얼거렸던 영국민요 Lavender's Blue (Dilly Dilly)는 앨범에 수록되지 않았다. 주제가 Strong은 소나 렐레(Sonna Rele)가 불렀다.
미국판 사운드트랙 앨범을 구매했을 경우, 겨울왕국 열기의 주제가인 Making Today a Perfect Day를 MP3로 다운받을 수 있는 특별 코드가 CD 내에 동봉되기도 했다.
