3. 작중 행적
첫 출연은 "SMG4 VS SMG3". 이후 몇몇 에피소드에서 SMG4의 비디오들을 복사해서 자신의 것으로 취급하려하다가 들켜서 늘 마리오와 SMG4에게 얻어맞았지만, 시간이 많이 흐르고 SMG4를 죽이려고 안달이 났다. 다만 SMG4와는 달리 멍청한 모습을 자주 보이는 편이라서 정작 계획을 혼자 실행해도 자기 자신이 못 따라가는 경우가 많다.한때 피치 공주의 성, 쿠파 성보다 더 거대한 요새에서 살고 있었으며, 이 곳은 방비가 잘 되어있어서 다른 성들보다 훨씬 안전해보인다. 다만, 상대가 마리오라서 잘 뚫리는 게 문제.
과거 쿠파와 동맹 관계를 맺었었다. 일반적으로는 세계 정복과 SMG4, 마리오의 사살을 위해 서로 같이 협력했지만[5] 쿠파나 SMG3나 둘다 멍청한 건 마찬가지라서 서로의 의견이 안 맞으면 싸우기도 하고, 계획이 순식간에 망가지기도 한다. 쿠파가 평소 SMG3를 좋아하지 않는 것처럼, SMG3도 쿠파를 좋아하지 않았다. 결국 이 둘의 동맹 관계는 2013년 말에 파기된다. 성격이 안 맞는다는 이유로 각자 행동을 하기로 했다고 한다.
SMG4 조회수 4위 에피소드인 R64: Freddy's spaghettiria 편에서는 초반에 마리오에게 러시아산 돌고래 구매처를 묻는 것으로 카메오 출연.
2016년 이후부터는 비중이 매우 적어져 조연급으로 떨어졌다가 2018년도 에피소드인 SMG4: Mario Gladiators 에서 아주 오랜만에 재등장했다. 그 이전부터 SMG3의 복귀를 바라는 팬들의 댓글이 꾸준히 달렸고 SMG4도 이를 인지한 듯 하다.
이후로는 출연이 들쭉날쭉이 되었고 2018년도의 SMG4: The Waluigi Arc 시리즈에서 와루이지가 진 최종 보스로 군림하게 된데다 SMG3는 이미 비중이 적어서 본 작품의 페이크 최종 보스 및 조연으로 전락했다.
밥이 SMG4: The Rapper Bob Arc 시리즈의 최종 보스 및 SMG4: 2018년 사가의 히든 보스로 나오게 된 이후 비중이 또다시 줄어들었다.
게다가 3번째 아크에서는 카멜레니아가 진 최종 보스로 나오게 되어 본 작품의 페이크 최종 보스로 다시 전락하고 있다. 출연 분량도 점점 적어지고 있어서 팬들은 SMG3의 입지를 많이 걱정했다. 사실 SMG3가 지속적으로 빌런으로 나온다 한들 그가 아크 시리즈에서 최종 보스로 나온 적은 없었다. SMG4가 아크 시리즈를 완결 내겠단 언급을 하지 않는 한 사실상 계속 조연 빌런으로 나올 가능성 또한 없지 않았다.
SMG4: A Day In The Life Of Everyone 편에서도 WOTFI 2018 때마냥 DR. SMG3 채널의 심리 상담사로 등장하지만 갑자기 방송사에서 방송 취소되었다는 소식을 듣자 절규하고 다시 사악한 계획을 세우기 시작한다.
SMG4: The Day SMG4 Posted Cringe 편에서 SMG4 유튜브 계정을 훔쳐 구독자 수를 줄이기 위해 오글거리는 영상들을 올리지만 SMG4, 마리오, 그리고 사이코에 의해 저지당한다.
그리고 2020년, 그간의 조연 비중에 불과했던 수모를 만회하듯 SMG4: The Youtube Arc 시리즈에서 SMG4 일행의 포지션을 본떠 모집한 SNITCH PRODUCTION과 함께 SMG4 일행의 존재 자체를 삭제하고 SMG4의 유튜브 채널을 장악하는 등의 작중 행적을 보이며 드디어 SMG4 시리즈의 메인 빌런이자, 최종 보스로 활약하였다.
Youtube Arc 이후 시즌이 거듭되면서 SMG4 일행과 협력하는 일이 많아지다보니 점차 악역보다는 조력자 포지션이 확대되어 일행 사이에서 대화를 나누는 모습이 꽤 자연스러워졌고, SMG4 Movie: IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT에서는 본인 입으로 SMG4를 친구라 인정하고 2023년도 WOTFI에선 SMG4와 더블 주인공으로 등장하는 등 이제는 주연이라는 호칭이 아쉽지않게 비중과 출연 빈도가 상당히 증가했다.-
WOTFI 2023편 이후로 인터넷 공동묘지를 떠나 전람회장으로 이주함과 동시에 카페를 차릴 것을 예고했으며, 이후 SMG4: SMG3's BOMB Cafe 편에서 해당 건물이 완공되었다. 이름은 Coffee n' Bombs로, 이름대로 커피와 폭탄을 함께 파는 카페다. The Inspection 편에 따르면 위생 문제는 둘째치고 역시 폭탄을 파는게 정상이 아닌건 아는지 검사관이 온다고 하자 SMG3가 급하게 폭탄들을 숨기려고 하는 모습을 보여준다.
3.1. The Waluigi Arc
하지만 SMG4: War Of The Fat Italian 2018 편에서 치료사로 재등장했다! 와리오가 SMG3를 찾으러 여행을 하던 도중 만난 것으로 와루이지가 이에 대꾸하는데 본인 말로는 세상에서 가장 사악한 악당은 와루이지가 아닌 자신이 되어야 한다는 말과 동시에, 자신이 미쳐버리면서 악당이 되기 전에 정신과 의사 학위를 땄다고 한다! 와리오와 와루이지를 화해시키고 세계를 구원하는데 공헌한 1등 공신. 그 덕에 와루이지 아크 번외 및 에필로그 격 에피소드인 SMG4: Mario's Late! 에서 버섯 왕국 상을 수여받는다.3.2. 작년 SMG4의 계정을 해킹해 구독자 수를 0으로 만들려는 SMG3의 계획이 실패한 후 SMG3는 Snitch Production이라고 명명한 자신의 프로덕션을 세우는 동시에 유튜브를 시작한다. SMG3는 마리오를 스파게티를 이용해 끌어들여 자신의 스튜디오의 게스트가 되어주길 권하고 마리오는 SMG3의 제안대로 게스트가 된다.한편 평소같이 인터넷 밈을 보고 있는 SMG4는 유튜브를 보던 중 SMG3가 올린 새 동영상이 눈에 띄어 한 번 보지만 역시 SMG4는 SMG3를 깔본다. 그러나 시청자들의 반응은 반대로 아주 좋았고, 조회수도 미친 속도로 상승하자 이에 열등감을 느낀 SMG4는 SMG3가 또다시 사악한 계획을 세우고 있을거라고 단정짓는다. 곧 SMG3의 본사를 찾아가 스튜디오 내부를 엉망으로 만들어 스니치 프로덕션 소속 멤버들의 화를 돋게 하고, 화난 멤버들은 스니치 프로덕션을 폭파시킨다. 아수라장이 된 스튜디오 밖에서 SMG3는 절망스러워하고, SMG4는 SMG3에게 도발을 한다.
SMG4: 좋은 시도였어. 하지만 네 사악한 계획은 또다시 좌절돼버렸지!
SMG4: 내가 말했지, 네 사악한 계획이 또다시 좌절되었다고!

Snitch Productions의 공식적인 멤버를 뽑는 오디션을 진행하는 크로뮬루스는 오디션의 참가자들을 한명한명 심사한다. 이윽고 공식으로 뽑혀진 참가자들이 모이는데, 마리오, 벨리에, 롭, 쩝쩝, 윔푸, 멜로니, 위지 인형 이렇게 총 7명이다.
직후 신규 멤버들은 크로뮬루스가 짜놓은 대본에 따라 공연 연습을 한다. 두 시간 후, 연습이 끝나자 공연이 본격적으로 시작되고 SMG4와 친구들은 마리오의 홍보에 따라 공연장으로 모인다. 그런데 SMG4 일행은 크로뮬루스의 공연의 시나리오에서 위화감을 느끼는데.. SMG4와 친구들의 경험담을 새로 뽑은 멤버들과 마리오를 이용해 각색한 것이다. 그런데 각색한 것도 설정만 한 두개 바꾼 것이 전부였고, 전체적인 시나리오는 SMG4 일행의 경험담을 그대로 표절해온 것이나 다름없었다. 공연이 끝난 후 크로뮬루스가 다시 나와 이 모든 시나리오는 본인이 직접 제작했으며, Snitch Productions 소속임을 공개한다. 이 때 스니치 프로덕션이 SMG3의 소유임을 알고 있었던 SMG4는 크로뮬루스의 정체를 알아내기 위해 뒤를 쫓아가 크로뮬루스에서 나오는 사람을 지켜보는데 역시 밖으로 나온 사람은 다름아닌 SMG3. 이에 SMG4는 SMG3을 공격하려고 접근하지만 SMG3는 자신의 멤버들을 집결시켜 SMG4를 처리하라 명령한다. 조금 뒤 똑같이 SMG4의 일행이 상황에 난입하면서 각각 1:1로 대립하게 된다. 이 때, 아무랑도 안 싸우던 마리오가 SMG4와 SMG3에게 한 마디를 한다.
마리오: 둘다 본인이 더 잘났다고 생각하나본데 사실은... 너네 다 똥멍청이들이야!!
마리오: 주변을 둘러봐봐!
마리오: 너희는 관심받고 싶어하는 저 루저들을 오해하고 있어...
마리오: 그리고 둘 다 외롭지 않을 거라는 희망을 가지고 함께 친구들을 만들었지.

이렇게 SMG3와 SMG4가 서로 화해를 하는 것으로 싸움이 조용히 마무리되는 듯 했다.

SMG3가 SMG4랑 화해한지 며칠이 지난 후 SMG3는 스니치 프로덕션의 멤버들을 모아 Mario Gets W O K E편에서 마리오가 한번 사용했던 유튜브 리모컨을 훔칠 계획을 짠다. 멤버들 하나씩 역할을 주는데, 마리오는 자긴 할 거 없다며 퇴장하려 하자 SMG3는 수잔 때문에 마리오가 절친 Greg를 잃은 사건을 상기시켜서 마리오를 설득하여 팀에 집어넣는다. 본사 침입 작전이 시작된 후, SMG3 일행 각자 능력을 모두 제대로 발휘하여 유튜브 리모컨이 보관된 최종 구역까지 도달하지만 역시 쉽게 내줄리가 없었는지 리모컨 뒤에서 수잔이 갑툭튀하여, 밴 망치로 모두를 밖으로 내쫓는다. 이렇게 허무하게 끝나나 싶더니 팀 안에 있지도 않았던 수미가 갑자기 나타나선 자기 손에 있는 유튜브 리모컨을 보여준다. 수미는 SMG3에게 리모컨을 순순히 넘겨주고, SMG3는 기뻐하며 자기 목적을 발설하는데...
SMG3: 이제! 이 리모컨을 통해서... 처음이자 마지막으로 SMG4를 제거해버리겠다!!
마리오: 야, 이게 무슨 전개야? 난 그냥 니 날라간 회사 재건하려는 줄 알았는데?
SMG3: 물론 그렇지... 하지만 난 그 녀석의 존재 자체도 제거해버릴 계획이다!
위 대사 직후 SMG3는 마리오를 먼저 리모컨을 이용해 인터넷 공동묘지로 보내버린다. 이렇게 유튜브 아크가 본격적으로 시작되고, SMG3는 SMG4: The Youtube Arc 시리즈의 최종 보스가 된다.[6]마리오: 야, 이게 무슨 전개야? 난 그냥 니 날라간 회사 재건하려는 줄 알았는데?

유튜브 아크의 미니 하이라이트인 SMG4: Deleted. 편에서는 악행의 강도가 초절정을 찍는데, 과거에 마리오가 만난 친구들을 자신의 동료들로 바꾸어 원래 마리오가 만났던 친구들을 현실에서 제거해버리는 악행을 저지른다. The Waluigi Arc 때와 비교하면 더욱 심하다.

SMG3는 마리오에게 자신이 SMG4와 그의 일당을 유튜브 채널에서 모두 제거해버렸다고 설명한 뒤 SMG4의 채널을 자신의 것으로 물들인다. 이제 편히 유튜브에 올릴 영상을 녹화하기 위해 대본을 짜고 녹화에 들어서지만, SMG3의 멤버들이 대본은 재끼고 계속 자기 멋대로만 행동하자 크게 꾸짖는 상황이 발생한다.

피치 성 근처 들판에서 멤버들과 동영상을 녹화하는 중이나, 바로 옆에서 나타난 SMG4 일행을 보고는 당황한다. 기껏 제거해놓은 SMG4 일행이 마리오의 활약으로 인터넷 공동묘지에서 빠져나온 것. 이윽고 수잔에게 리모컨을 빼앗기는 듯 했으나 리모컨 뒤쪽에 달린 'FACTORY RESET' 버튼을 누르고 유튜브 리모컨의 정신을 깨운 장본인이 된다. 이후 여러 WOTFI 챌린지를 진행하다가, 한 챌린지의 규칙을 깨고 붑킨을 인질삼아 쩝쩝의 몸 안으로 들어간 리모컨을 자신에게 돌려줄 것을 요구한다. 결국 쩝쩝이 리모컨을 내뱉어 SMG3가 다시 주도권을 잡는데, 싸움 도중 메기가 SMG4 일행과 SMG3 일행을 통합시켜서 SMG3를 저지하는데 큰 공헌을 하게 된다. 결국 자신의 거짓말을 보다 못해 전향한 한때의 SNITCH PRODUCTION 멤버들과, 복수를 준비하는 SMG4 일행에게 끝내 패배하게 되고 수잔 우치츠키에 의해 인터넷 공동묘지로 추방당한다.

- Weegeepie와 마찬가지로 Youtube Arc에서 영향을 받아 팬메이드 채널이 탄생했다. 공식 디스코드까지 생기는 등 나름 선전하는 편.
- SMG3의 성우인 James는 본인의 스트리밍 방송에서 SMG3가 게이냐는 질문에 이성애자는 아니라고 답했고, SMG3를 '게이인 섀도우 더 헤지혹' 이라고 묘사하기도 한 거로 보아 성소수자 캐릭터인건 확실해 보인다.
