For years SkyBlock has been one of the most requested games on the Network, today we are releasing our own version of SkyBlock in the Prototype lobby!
▶ What is SkyBlock? SkyBlock has been around the Minecraft community for more than 7 years, longer than the Hypixel Network! Even though the game has evolved a lot through the years, the idea remains the same: Players start on a tiny island with almost nothing and quickly start unlocking and collecting resources, expand their island, combat monsters, then create farms and explore all their options. There are many ways to play SkyBlock, and we have decided to create our own special way.
▶ How to play Hypixel SkyBlock? You can go in the Prototype Lobby, or you can directly click on SkyBlock in the compass. There is also a SkyBlock NPC in the main lobby! You can also easily join using the /play skyblock command. SkyBlock can be played alone or with friends in Co-op! See more co-op information below. You can play SkyBlock on any Minecraft version, but we recommend using 1.8.9 as it is still the most stable version!
▶ Why Prototype? The game is still in development - there are "coming soon" features and a lot of balancing to do - but during the last few weeks of testing we have been having a lot of fun playing. If we are having fun, then the game is ready for prototype!
As such, please make sure you report any bugs or exploits as soon as possible so we can fix them fast. The best way to do so is to use our bug report form.

Hypixel SkyBlock
Every single player and co-op will start on their own private world, with 2 tiny islands. On the first island, you will unlock your first Collection: Oak!
▶ Collections There are currently 55 different Collections in the game. Collections count how many of one resource you collected so far, and they reward you useful or powerful items on milestones! So let's have a look at the Oak Collection (but no spoilers!).
The Oak Collection contains 9 rewards, like most Collections. Here are the rewards: Oak Minion (What's a Minion?) - 50 Oak Logs Collected Oak Leaves Trade - 100 Oak Logs Collected Leaflet Armor - 250 Oak Logs Collected Small Enchanted Chest - 500 Oak Logs Collected Forest Biome Stick - 1000 Oak Logs Collected Enchanted Oak Log - 2000 Oak Logs Collected Medium Enchanted Chest - 5000 Oak Logs Collected Wood Talisman - 10000 Oak Logs Collected Large Enchanted Chest - 30000 Oak Logs Collected Once you collect 50 Oak Logs, you will unlock the crafting recipe of the Oak Minion. (All the recipes you unlock are listed in your recipe menu, we will talk about it later!)
▶ Minions On your way to the second island, you will notice a portal, but also this little guy:
They don't protec, they don't attac, but most importantly they work a lot!
Meet your Cobblestone Minion! Take the Cobblestone from his storage to unlock your Cobblestone Collection.
They are not very smart yet, but they are motivated! Click on him to open his menu:
Our advice is that you should pay particular attention to those Minion menus, they contain their storage but also information on how to use them (can be different per Minion), how to level them up, and what kind of upgrades you can give them!
Minions tend to work a bit slower, but they work all the time! If you go offline they will continue to toil along in your private world. They will start with small storage, which means it won't take long for them to be full and unable to work. As you upgrade them, their storage and efficiency will increase.
There are a lot of different Minions in the game, but at the start you will only be able to place 5 of them on your island. You can unlock more slots the more Minions you level up! (We recommend placing them close to each other, it won't make them work harder, but at least they will have someone to talk to.)
If you jump in the Portal behind your Cobblestone Minion, you will be teleported to the SkyBlock Hub Island.
▶ The Public Islands
You can think of this as the SkyBlock Lobby, it's a very important place!
All those islands are public islands, you will meet other players there. This is where SkyBlock on Hypixel is very unique. Once in the Village, our advice is to explore and talk to the Villagers, they give important clues and advice!
SkyBlock is a Prototype game, meaning that most of the buildings are not finished, but the important ones are already functional (the Bank, Auction House, the Market, the Blacksmith...). Exploration is key!
Your adventure will begin outside the Village, you need resources to work on your private island and your Collections. Most resources can be found on public islands. For example, North of the Village is the Coal Mine, where you can unlock the Coal Collection!
Most resources can be found on the other islands, but to get there you need to use the jump pads on the edge of the hub. Those require at least a few Skill Levels to use! To get to The Barn (the island beyond the Farm) you need to be at least Farming Level 2!
▶ Skills In short, the more crops you collect, the more Farming Experience you will get! The more you mine, the more Mining Exp you will get, same goes for all Skills in the game.
Farming, Foraging, Mining, Combat, Fishing, Enchanting and Alchemy are the 7 SkyBlock Skills.
Leveling up your Skills unlocks Islands, but also perks and other rewards!
That's a lot of information but don't worry, the Nether Star in your hotbar contains everything, it's the SkyBlock Menu!
▶ SkyBlock Menu This is how your SkyBlock Menu will look at first, you will unlock useful options during your journey. If you ever get lost, open this menu! It contains a lot of useful information.
Special mention to the Profile Management icon in your SkyBlock Menu; At any time you can decide to create a new profile, solo or with friends!
▶ Co-op! To start a Co-op with friends, open your SkyBlock Menu, click on the Profile Management icon at the bottom and then you have 2 options: Left-click to create a New Solo Profile (which will create a second profile) Right-click to create a Co-op with friends, which will tell you to enter the command; /coop <friend1> <friend2> etc You can currently have up to 5 players in a Co-op, so you can invite 4 friends! But they all have to be online at the time of the creation, and all accept the invitation.
Once a profile is already created, you can add friends using the /coopadd command.
Once all players have accepted the invitation, you can start playing. Do note that once a Co-op profile is started, every player in the group are equals and can do anything in the game - there are no leaders, only friends.
If you read everything until now, you are more than ready to start playing the game! We are very passionate about SkyBlock on Hypixel and we really hope you will like playing it!
Even if SkyBlock is a Prototype game, we will try very hard to never reset progress, even if players find major exploits. As such, you can enjoy SkyBlock right away without fear of having to start all over again.
If you ever find an important exploit (item duplication, issues related to coins, skill exp, enchanting exp, etc...), please contact us ASAP! You can contact any staff member and they will alert us, or you can create a private conversation with me on the forums or you can use the usual forum bug report form.
That said, if we ever find out that you used an exploit without talking to us, you will be banned from SkyBlock forever! On a similar note, while we are allowing trading and giving items between profiles, if we find accounts created for the sole purpose of exploiting, we will reset and punish the accounts benefiting from it.
Last but not least! Like previously mentioned, there are a lot of features we are still working on, but if you are curious, here are some spoilers on a few features coming in the next updates: The Colosseum near the Village will host permanent PvP Tournaments!You will be able to purchase furniture in the store located in the Village (currently the house where my NPC is standing!)A lot of the houses in the Village and other villages in the games will be rentable by players, co-ops, and even Guilds!Yes, every Guild on the Hypixel Network will have their own SkyBlock, and Guild masters will be able to set permissions for each rank!In the SkyBlock Menu, you can already find the Calendar, depending on the day of the SkyBlock year, moon phase or time of the day, special Events might happen!In your Collections you might unlock Pets, those will spawn as Level 1 monsters that will help you many different ways.There is a big Mountain in the Hub, and Ruins of an old Castle, I wonder what those will be.. And what about this Wizard Tower?You might find a large portal South of the Hub, maybe Guilds will have things to do there... That's enough for now! We thought we'd share a few of our bug fixes and changes since it's release. Do note that while we've tried to take note of everything we've changed, some of the changes might be missing from these notes.

Note: Patch Notes for today are changes that were applied in the last few days (basically since the last patch notes) in no particular order. We are considering changing the schedule of updates and release patch notes with the updates themselves in the future to avoid causing confusing surprises.
Deliveries
The Guide in everyone’s private island will now host deliveries when applicable. A message will flash above the guide’s name letting you know he has deliveries available (very reminiscent of the lobbies’ delivery man).
Note that with the release of this system, we will use the new system to return any items lost by the minions bug that was briefly introduced (and fixed) last Monday. We apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused.
General
The Personal Banker will now count down, rather than counting up. Backpacks will now keep their items upon upgrading. Enchanted Sugar is now crafted using Sugar Canes.
Minion Improvements
Moved the “Pickup Minion” button to the right to prevent accidental clicking Added a “Collect All” button to pickup all the items the minion has stored including items in storage chests Minions can now be upgraded via the next tier menu without picking up the minion. It will also say how many items are required and how many you are missing.
Changed Thorns from 10% damage to 3% damage per level. Changed Giant Killer to now add +0.5% extra damage for each extra %HP the enemy has above your own. Enchanted Redstone Block can now be used as a brewing ingredient to increase a potion’s duration to 40m. 콜로세움 업데이트가 있었다. 게임 시간으로 매해 가을 말일 마다 진행하는 The Spooky Event가 추가되었다. 한국 시간 기준 할로윈 다음 날이 게임 시간으로 가을이었는데, 이 때 매 달 가을마다 할로윈 이벤트를 진행해 게임 시간으로 한 달마다 총 세 번 이벤트를 참여할 수 있었다. 스푸키 페스티벌에 대한 자세한 내용은 이곳 참조.
Floating Island가 The Park로 변경되고 하프 연주, 불의 시험, 레이스 등의 다양한 퀘스트가 추가되고 숨겨진 Fairy Soul의 수가 늘었다. Gunpowder Mines에서 Boomer NPC가 추가되었다. 새 가구 26종이 패치되었다. Reaper Scythe 무기로 소환된 좀비들의 공격력이 80% 감소하였다. 개인 섬에서 분신술로 생성된 여러 명의 Jerry가 다같이 모여 배틀 로얄을 하며 치고 박고 싸우다보니 한 명이 되었다.[7]
11월 18일 인챈트된 아이템들이 바닐라 조합에 적용되지 않도록 추가 패치하였다. Fixed a bug where the Recipe menu was constantly being updated when it didn't need to be, causing annoying glitchy item clicking in the inventory. 더미를 더 이상 블록 안쪽에 설치할 수 없다. Fixes Quiver Arrow being put in item frames. Fixed instances where you couldn't pick up the Dummy after it had died. ("This Training Dummy has already been picked up!"). Fixed having 2 Bows on the hotbar causing the SkyBlock Menu to be deleted by the Quiver Arrow. Fixed clicking on a Quiver Arrow in your inventory removing the wrong item. Hopefully made the Quiver Arrow appearing on your hotbar after shooting a little snappier. Raider Axe가 25코인을 추가로 주지 않는 문제를 수정하였다. 로미오와 줄리엣 퀘스트에서 이제 로미오에게 티어에 상관없이 꽃 미니언을 줄 수 있다. Melody가 이제 하프 가구를 판매한다. 이 가구로 연주 퀘스트를 클리어할 수 있다.
콜로세움 근처에 Guy라는 NPC가 생겼는데 이 NPC에게 돈을 주고 Peraonal Bank의 쿨타임을 줄일 수 있다. [8] 그리고 이것외에도 많은 다양한 아이템들이 업데이트되었다.
12월 4일 Piggy Bank의 용도가 바뀌었다. 이제 Piggy Bank를 가지고 20K 이상의 코인을 가지고 있다 죽으면 코인은 그대로 보존되고, Piggy Bank가 부서진다. 인챈트된 돼지고기 8개로 다시 원상복귀 시킬 수 있다.[9] 그리고 Piggy Bank의 저금 기능이 사라졌다.[10]
경매장 뒤에 위치해 있으며 거래 시스템이다. 컬랙션 아이템과 슬레이어 보스 아이템, 핫 포테이토 북, 슈퍼 컴펙터 3000, Summoning eye, Candy, gifts 등등을 판다. 물건마다 4가지의 옵션이 있으며 바로 구매하기, 바로 판매하기, 원하는 가격에 구매하기, 원하는 가격에 판매하기가 있다. 시세는 플레이어들이 얼마나 사고파느냐에 따라 실시간으로 변한다. 이 패치로 돈을 잘 버는 미니언의 순위가 크게 바뀌게 되었다.
개인 섬과 허브를 이동할 수 있는 메뉴가 Fast travel 로 바뀌었다. 허브와 개인섬은 자동 잠금 해제가 되고, 다른 섬의 Fast Travel 은 아이템 콜렉션으로 레시피를 해금 할 수 있고 우클릭하면 Fast Travel 을 이용할 수 있는 스크롤이 추가되었다.[15] 하지만 에픽 이상의 등급 부터는 MVP+ 을 구입해야만 이용 할 수 있다.[16]돈무새

기타 변경 사항
- 턱시도가 너무 많은 파티클을 내뿜는 것이 수정되었다. - Rock Pet의 방어력 증가 능력이 누적되는 것을 수정되었다. - Private Island에서 스폰되는 몹이 더이상 농작물을 파괴하지 않는다. - 빠른 제작에서 잘 제작하지 않는 갑옷이 인챈트형태의 재료보다 뒤에 나타다도록 변경되었다. 사실상 마그마크림 등의 재료를 위한 업데이트.
빠른 이동 업데이트
-포탈 제작법이 너프가 되었다. -빠른 이동으로 포탈없이 '스크롤'을 제작해서 왼쪽 아래에 있는 허브 버튼으로 워프를 할 수 있다. -MVP+ 는 '에픽 스크롤'이라는 것을 얻을 수 있는데, 바로 드래곤 네스트[17], 다크 옥션 같은 장소로 워프를 할 수 있다.
경매에서 물건을 즉시 살 수 있는 bin 이라는 것이 생겼다.이제 부자들에게 압도 안 당해도 된다. 사실 옥션보다 싼 것은 생기자 마자 한 5분안에 나가서 얻기 힘들다. 그리고 업데이트라 하기는 애매하지만 catacomb던전의 알파 테스트 서버가 열렸다. 5/18~19 까지는 YouTubers, admins, staff, builders, HPC등급들이 5/20부터는 mvp++도 참여할 수 있다. 펫 업데이트 v2가 패치되었다. 눈골렘 몸통이 사라졌으며 많은 펫들이 너프, 버프를 먹었다. 그리고 diver armor에 sea creature chance가 갑옷 부위마다 2%가 추가 되었다
업그레이드 별로 각 물품별 최대 2만여개의 물품을 저장 가능하지만 인챈트된 형태의 물품은 저장 불가능. * 농사 관련 물품 주머니는 밀 컬렉션에 등장한다. * 축산물[20] 관련 물품 주머니는 양고기 컬렉션에 등장한다. * 채굴 관련 물품 주머니는 석탄 컬렉션에 등장한다. * 전투 관련 물품 주머니는 썩은 고기 컬렉션에 등장한다. * 수렵 관련 물품 주머니는 자작나무 컬렉션에 등장한다. * 흰동가리 컬렉션에서 sack of sack[21]을 해금 가능하다.
Personal Compactor 추가 레드스톤 컬렉션에 개인 합성기라는 악세서리가 추가되었다. 이 악세서리는 가지고 있으면 등록한 인챈트 형식의 아이템으로 재료가 모일때마다 알아서 합성해준다. 재료로 슈퍼컴팩터 3000이 들어가며 퍼스널 컴팩터 4000[22]/5000[23]/6000[24] 으로 업그레이드 할때마다 숫자가 올라간다. 인첸 레드스톤 블럭이 최소 14개에서 최대 49개까지 필요하다. 6000 기준 7개까지 등록 가능.
* 인첸트 테이블에서 자신이 원하는 인첸트를 할 수 있게 변경되었다. Dwarven Mines Update원문 링크 * 7번째 광산인 Dwarven Mine이 추가된다. * 성급함이 사라지고, 채굴 피로가 영구적으로 걸리게 된다.[35] 개인 섬을 제외한 모든 섬에서는 채굴 피로가 걸리게 된다. 이때 성급함은 Mining Speed 스텟을 높여준다. * 새로운 스텟인 Mining Speed, Mining Fortune, Farming Fortune, Foraging Fortune이 생긴다. * 곡괭이에 능력을 부여한다. 미스릴을 캘 때 얻을 수 있는 파우더로 단계를 높힐 수 있다. * HoTM의 티어가 높을 수록 능력이 많아진다. 능력을 얻으려면 토큰을 이용해 구매할 수 있다. * 일부 능력은 다시 환불이 가능하다. * HoTM의 티어는 Royal place에서 Commissions를 받아 클리어하고 다시 돌아오면 경험치를 받는데, 일정량을 도달하면 티어가 높아진다. 그냥 퀘스트라 보면 된다.
* Forger
* HoTM 티어 2부터 사용할 수 있으며, 티어가 높을 수록 재련할 수 있는 아이템과, 슬롯이 많아진다. * 필요한 광물을 주고, 오랜 시간을 기다리면 재련된 아이템을 얻을 수 있다.
* 몹
* 고블린 : 처치 시, 고블린 갑옷을 준다. 고블린 에그를 드롭하기도 하는데, 낮은 확률로 골든 고블린이 나온다[38] * Ice Walker : 곡괭이로 때리면 검보다도 큰 데미지를 준다. 낮은 확률로 갑옷을 드롭한다.갑옷 풀셋을입었을때 풀셋효과는 마이닝레벨마다 채굴속도를 올려주는데 마이닝레벨이 15가되면 조약돌도 한방에 캘수있다. * Ghost : 던전 밖 최종 보스[39]다리 밑에 하얗게 생긴 공간이 있는데, 들어가면 경고를 주는데, 이들 때문에 그러는거다. 데미지는 장난 아니고, 심지어 잘 보이지도 않기 때문에 죽는데 바쁘다. Sorrow를 낮은 확률로 드롭하는데, 경매에 비싸게 팔리니 참고.
* 이벤트
* 20분마다 이벤트가 열리는데, Dwarven Village에 있는 Garry한테 가면 이벤트에 참여할 수 있다. 2x 파우더 이벤트는 제외.
* 2x 파우더 : 말 그대로 2배로 파우더를 얻는다. 15분 동안 진행. * 고블린 습격 : 5분안에 고블린 1000마리를 처치하면 된다. 혼자가아닌, 서버 안의 모든 유저들의 협동으로 처치하니, 쉬운 이벤트다. * Raffle : The pit의 Raffle 메이저 이벤트와 똑같다. 티켓을 많이 모아서 복권 추첨을 하는 방식이다.
* 쉽게 말하면 몬스터 전용 컬렉션. 몹을 죽이거나 몹한테 죽을 때마다 그 몹의 컬렉션 수치가 높아지고, 컬렉션이 높아질수록 해당 몹의 보너스까지 받는다.[40] * Bestiary Milestone도 생겼는데, Bestiary 컬렉션 티어가 높을수록 이것도 높아진다. 단계 도달시, 컴벳 경험치를 준다. * Grandma wolf 펫도 추가되었다. 경매에 팔 수 없고, 아이템으로 바꾸는거 자체가 불가능하다. Today the Blazing Fortress is emerging from its chrysalis, finally born anew in the form of the Crimson Isle. Many memories were forged on this island but it is time for new stories to be told.
In this thread, we will present the largest SkyBlock release to date.
Centuries of eruptions from the Volcano turned this island into this infernal landscape. The island inhabitants regrouped into two opposing factions on each side of the Volcano. While their relations have been mostly peaceful since the treaty, trouble is starting to brew on the island.
faction
The requirement to enter the Crimson Isle is Combat level 24.
Near the island entrance, you'll find Elle of the Nether in a predicament. Help her, and she will tell you more about this place and the two factions.
The Taika people compose the Mage Faction in Scarleton, while the Piglins are on the opposite side of the island in Dragontail, home of the Barbarian Faction. Somewhere along the questline, you’ll be able to join either of those factions and progress in their respective quests.
What is a Faction?
This update introduces new Quest and NPC mechanics such as improved objective systems, dialogue systems, NPCs moving, and more. Each Faction has its own questline and story for you to play through.
On top of that, you will get access to the Town Board of your Faction, giving you Daily Missions. You will need to gain reputation to move up the ranks of your Faction, giving you access to new shop options, better daily missions, and more.
Choosing a Faction isn’t a strategy, so feel free to pick whichever fancies you the best. You can always change factions later if you feel like it by talking to Elle. You will need to lose all your current reputation to amend and restore your trust with the other faction before you join them.

The Crimson Isle is an extremely hostile area with tons of new enemies, and 5 of them stand above the others both in strength and in their reward. Those 5 mini-bosses are known as:
Bladesoul: A giant wither skeleton who rules over the stronghold after defeating the strongest of the Blazes in it, now wearing his body as a crown. The Barbarian Duke X: A Piglin who consumed way too much Sulphur and gained immense strength at the cost of his sanity, now ruling over his people on the outskirts of the city. Mage Outlaws: Imbued in their search for power, they got banned from Scarleton and are always up to demonstrate their power to anyone who challenges them. Ashfang: A mighty Blaze that resides behind the wastelands, in the ruins of an old bastion. The Magma Boss: The mightiest of them all... This titan can is found in the magma chamber, in the depth of the Volcano.
kuudra
Kuudra is the name of a massive lava kraken that appeared on the Crimson Isle. You can access this monstrous anomaly from the Forgotten Skull. It will require you to have completed at least one of the Faction Questlines.
There are five tiers of difficulty to this boss fight, but only two will be released today. We are planning significant changes to this part of the content, so we will not give any ETA for the release of the last three tiers.
You will have to make a party to start a fight, as there won’t be matchmaking until a further release. Win or lose, players will be able to open a free chest at the end of each fight, but the content of this free chest will be smaller if you lose.
Winning, however, spawns an extra chest that can only be opened using a Kuudra Key. Those players will be able to obtain new armor pieces, as long as other valuable items.

Among all the new armors released with the Crimson Isle, the best ones are found inside the Key Chest at the end of the Kuudra Boss fight. The Crimson Armor: An armor perfect for melee DPS that extends the range you can hit enemies from.The Aurora Armor: This mage armor will see some changes in the future. It is closely tied to the Aurora Staff, which you also get from Kuudra.The Terror Armor: This set makes anyone look like a natural-born archer with its devastating passive.The Fervor Armor: Among all the tank armors in SkyBlock, this one rules them all.The Hollow Armor: A support armor that will give interesting choices to the players. (This armor will release at a later date) Each one of those armors is using the new Set Bonus system. Even if you are only using two pieces of those sets, you’ll still benefit from their passives, but the effects will get stronger with each extra piece.[50]
Skyblock 레벨이 추가되었다. 스킬 레벨, 슬레이어 레벨, 카타콤, 페어리 소울, 컬렉션, 미니언, 펫, HOTM, 카타콤 클래스 레벨, 박물관 등 으로부터 경험치를 얻을 수 있으며, 레벨이 오를 때마다 영구적인 스탯 버프를 준다. [51] 이로써 Bazzar, Wardrobe, Community Shop 등과 같은 다양한 기능은 이제 스카이블럭 레벨을 올림으로써 사용할 수 있다.
여태까지 우리에게 많은 도움을 주던 페어리 소울의 영구적인 스탯 버프가 사라진다.[52] 그 대신 5개씩 교환할 때 마다 스카이블럭 레벨 경험치를 준다.
Juju Shortbow의 사용 제한 레벨이 엔더 슬레이어 3레벨에서 5레벨으로 변경되었다.
던전 허브에 Croesus 라는 NPC가 생겼다. 던전 상자를 킵 했다가 나중에 열 수 있는 NPC이며 최대 보관 가능 상자는 60개이고 킵한 상자는 48시간 뒤에 자동으로 소멸한다.[53]
에메랄드 블레이드가 너프되었다. 이제 에메랄드 블레이드를 사용할 시 자동으로 Curse of Greed 라는 저주가 걸리며 저주를 받은 상태에서 죽게 되면, 죽을 시 돈을 잃지 않게 해주는 모든 효과를 무시하고 가진 돈의 절반을 잃게 된다.[54]
