1. 개요
항염(증)제 또는 소염(진통)제는 염증(또는 통증)[1]이 발생하는 과정에 관여하여 이를 억제하는 약물 제제나 염증을 치료하고 방지를 목적으로하는 약을 가리킨다.작용에 따라 소염 진통제와 소염 효소제로 나눌 수 있다.
2. 메커니즘
일례로 염증반응을 조절하는 신호전달체계에서 피세아타놀(piceatannol)은 LPS(리포 다당류, lipopolysaccharide)에 의한 유도체를 억제할 수 있음으로써 결과적으로 염증 메커니즘의 결과를 사전에 조절한다.[2][3][4][5][6]3. 분류

류마티스 관절염은 남성대비 여성에게서 보다 많이 발생하는 전신 질환으로 주로 신체 전 범위에 걸친 윤활막 또는 결합 조직에 서 보인다. 염증 또는 통증이 주요 임상 증상이며, 특히 손과 발에 나타나고 보통 만성으로 진행하여 온도와 습도 또는 관절사용의 비정상적 과부하 또는 세균등의 다양한 원인이 보고된다.항류마티스 약제로는 당질 코르티코이드(Glucocorticoid), NSAID 그리고 DMARD(isease modifying anti - rheumatic drug,질병완화 항류마티스 제제) ,면역억제제(immunosuppressants), 생물학적 제제(biologic agents) 등이 있다고 보고된다.[7]
