1971년 11월 17일에 발매된 마일스 데이비스의 라이브, 스튜디오 앨범.[1]2. 상세
8곡 중 4곡은 1970년 워싱턴 D.C.의 The Cellar Door 클럽에서 연주된[2] 라이브 잼을 편집해서 수록했다.[3][4] 나머지 4곡은 1970년 뉴욕시의 컬럼비아 스튜디오 B에서 녹음됐다.[5]이 작품에 대한 마일스 데이비스의 당초 의도는 Bitches Brew를 정신적으로 계승하는 것이었다. 그러나 후에 서로가 아주 다르다는 것을 알게 되어 그 생각을 버렸다.
