ZERG CAMPAIGN: THE TEMPLE
In the battle over the planet Char, Kerrigan achived a total victory. The Protoss and Terran alliance was broken and their fleets were scattered.
Artanis and Zeratul, together with their loyal warriors, went back to Shakuras. In the meantime, the fanatical Protoss tribes of Aiur united with the remains of Judicator Aldaris's Conclave and created the New Council, gaining complete control over the Protoss homeland.
The Council began to eradicate the remaining Zerg hive clusters on Aiur. However, they were zealously hunting the Dark templar and those who have joined them. Neverthless, Artanis and Zeratul are trying their best to reunify the people of Shakuras and the children of Aiur once more.
Arcturus Mengsk, fleeing from the remnants of the UED, returened to Korhal and began rebuilding the Terran Dominion. The inhabitants of the nearby asteroids were liberated from the regime of the United Earth Directorate and joined the Dominion. The Emperor once again travelled through space to find an old ally, hoping that he would not incur wrath upon his fragile empire in doing so.
The UED's main attack fleet fled back to Earth after losing the battle, but Kerrigan's troops caught up to it and completely destroyed it. In the sector, the UED was destroyed as a military power. However, their scrattered garrisons and ships, led by their new admiral, gathered around the planet Char to consolidate their remaining forces. This unifed army still has hundreds of ships and a number of ground attack squads. They are secretly hoping to dethrone the Emperor of the Terran Dominion and even Kerrigan herself with time.
Kerrigan, the Queen of blades, turned her full attention toward Char. The entrie Zerg Swarm is now under her control. Now that she has sent her strongest broods to destroy the escaping UED fleet, she has barley enough troops to attack the rest of the Char-bound Terrans. She hopes to destroy the UED once and for all soon. She must do this before turning her flaming eyes on Shakuras...

Admiral Hudson successfully reached the escape ship and left the cruiser despite the Zerg assault. Hudson Rheims hoped for help from the Terran Dominion, but two standard hours after the ship has been launched, Kerrigan scouts found the Admiral and tore his ship to pieces before he could reach dominion space.
The Ued dusty grip on the Zerg Swarm was broken. After the destruction of the reserve fleet, Kerrigan and Gzorn were systematically searching the space platforms and killing all remaining Terrans. The United Earth Direceorate was eradicated. There were no survivors. The Swarm began its journey in hyperspace to Aiur.
Meanwhile, the elite warriors, Artanis and Zeratul, passed through the Warp Gate on Shakuras and set up their bases on Aiur. The two young leadrs are hoping to start peace negotiations with the New Council. They can's even imagine what hard times are waiting for them...

They are looking for reinforcements so that they may later recapture their home. Amidst the Chaos, Mojo joined Artanis. The young Executor, not knowing about the betrayal, received him in the Citadel.
The Zerg, now led by Duran, plowed through Shakuras, destroying Protoss cities and killing all that stood in their way. The Cerebrate came under Duran's control. The unified broods have begun to exterminate the Protoss remaining on the planet.Upon the site of every destroyed settlement, a Zerg hivearose.
Kerrigan never lived to see that which she worked for so hard: The conquest of Shakuras.
